The Patrick Wild Centre will be running a pilot study for child and adults with fragile X syndrome, of an intervention called Cogmed.  Which  is a computer program  designed to improve a particular type of memory, called working memory.

Research indicates that working memory may be an area of particular difficulty  for people with fragile X syndrome.   We hope that this study will be a step towards discovering whether interventions to improve working memory are useful or even possible in those with fragile X syndrome.

The study is being  funded by the Baily Thomas Charitable Fund.
