Sarah is a research coordinator at the Patrick Wild Centre as of March 2019. She is responsible for the management of clinical trials as well as organising and facilitating working groups for patient and public involvement in research studies. Sarah has a BSc (Hons) in Nursing from Queen Margaret University and an MScR from the University of Edinburgh which focused on how to overcome barriers to clinical trials in Fragile X Syndrome.
Sarah’s research principally relates to individuals with intellectual disabilities caused by identified genetic changes; and in particular fragile X syndrome and SYNGAP1-related intellectual disability.
